"New Technologies and Innovative Solutions in High Pressure Die Casting" Seminar was held on April 25, 2025 in Istanbul, as MAGMA Bilişim ve Teknoloji Hizmetleri, in partnership with voestalpine Türkiye, Bühler Group AG and METİSTEC, which are the leading companies in their own branches in our sector, and moderated by TÜDÖKSAD Turkish Foundry Association, with 220 participants.
There was a great interest in the presentations of experts from Turkey and abroad throughout the day. We were very happy to contribute to the seminar program with presentations by Horst Bramann from our German center MAGMA Gießereitechnologie GmbH, F. Murat Akçin and Emrah Gençalp from our MAGMA Turkey team, including examples of MAGMASOFT's casting quality and cost improvement in the high pressure die casting process.
The seminar started with the presentation of Tunçağ Cihangir Şen from TÜDOKSAD on Current Situation and Trends in the Casting Industry, Günther Prunner from voestalpine AG on voestalpine Solutions for Global Trends of HPDC, Horst Bramann from MAGMA GmbH on Simulation from Mechanical Properties to Distortion in High Pressure Die Casting Today, Tobias Gaemperle from BÜHLER AG on Casting Defects and Solution Methods in Aluminum Injection, Koray Arslan from METISTEC on Long Life with Proshot Shot Chamber and Equipment.
After a pleasant lunch, the afternoon session started with Premium Value Added Services for High Pressure Die Casting by Ali Biber and Muhammed Şen from voestalpine AG, and continued with Cost Management with MAGMAEconomics by Murat Akçin & Emrah Gençalp from MAGMA Türkiye. Afterwards Luca Comerio from voestalpine AG contributed with his presentations on Megacastings / Revolution in Die Casting and Raphael Grüter from BÜHLER AG contributed with his presentations on Digital Services - Total Care (Control, Maintenance, Training, Process Optimization).
In our seminar, the participants showed great interest with the questions they asked through the application, the participants and the experts exchanged information interactively. In addition, an effective networking environment was provided where participants could meet and share ideas.
